List of foods to avoid

  • Sugar (refined sugar, caned sugar, dextrose, corn syrup, fructose, honey, brown sugar, rice syrup, agave, canned fruit juice, cookies, jams, candy, pastries, dried fruits, grapes, grapefruit, bananas, oranges, cherries, papaya, mangos, watermelon)
  • Dairy (milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, kefir)
  • Gluten (processed grains, corn, wheat, barley, oats, rye, spelt, kamut, bread, pasta, bagels, pizza, or any processed grain from wheat.)
  • Caffeine (coffee, regular and decaf, black tea, green tea, energy drinks, matcha, kombucha,)
  • All yeast and fermented foods (vinegar, ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, mushrooms, alcohol, chocolate, food additives and preservatives, sauerkraut, kimchi, and kefir.)

List of foods to enjoy

  • Fresh fruits (organic coconut, blueberries strawberries, blackberries, lemon and lime juice with water, fresh pressed juice with greens.
  • Vegetables (all fresh and organic)
  • Grains (quinoa and brown rice)
  • Beans (all beans and lentils)
  • Protein (small amounts of organic ground buffalo, plant based protein shake, all nuts and seeds, oils organic extra virgin olive oil and avocado)
  • Spices (salt, garlic, onion, pepper, turmeric, oregano)
  • Beverages (reverse osmosis water, herbal tea (caffeine free), fresh pressed juices, coconut milk, hemp milk and almond milk. 

*Take a probiotic before each meal from a non-dairy source, drink 8 glasses of water per day at room temperature. Avoid drinking around meal time, chew foods properly before swallowing. Generally eat a very limited amount of carbohydrates while on the diet.
